FORM
Musically-visual, dance monodrama OLIVER – THE BLACK ROVER balances on the edge between classical theater, film and show, where elements of afro-dance, fantasy, magic, comedy and drama are used. Harmoniously combines dance, original music and acting with the principles
of LANTERNA MAGICA, thus a mutual interactive link between live stage events with animation and screen projections. Rear projections are projected into a special, black (almost invisible on stage) nano projection screen, that creates additional theater space in the depth of the stage. The play is made in an attractive audio-visual form and is therefore suitable for the general public from the age of 15 and lasts 60 minutes.

CO-PRODUCTION
The performance OLIVER – THE BLACK ROVER is a product of international cooperation. It’s creation is financed by the Czech Republic, carried out in Brazil, with full audio-visual postproduction in Serbia. The only “live” actor in the performance is brasilian afro-dancer FELLIPE PACHECO from Rio de Janeiro. The author of the original music is composer JAROSLAV ZIMA (Serbia), the author of the screenings and animations is VLADIMIR ZIMA (Serbia). The scriptwriter of the play is movie director and book writer VLADIMÍR KAVČIAK (Czech Republic). Director is PETER SERGE BUTKO (Czech Republic).

TRILOGY
The performance is created as a second part of the LATERNA NOVA trilogy, a trilogy that uses the same principle of multimedia interaction of live actor and projections. The first part of the trilogy was the performance BIRDS IN THE HOUSE (created in 2016 in the co-production of the Czech Republic, Serbia, Slovakia) and in 2017 was selected in an international competition of the Argentine Ministry of Culture to go on a two-month tour of Argentina. In autumn 2018, the performance BIRDS IN THE HOUSE will be presented in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic as well as in Brazil and Chile. The third part of the trilogy, performance GOD CRAZY, will be about the life and work of the ingenious Russian dancer of the last century V. Nijinsky. It will be realized in 2018 in the Mexican city of La Paz (in the co-production of Mexico, Czech Republic, Serbia) and the lead role will be played by Salim Lara – soloist of the La Paz Ballet Theatre.
